About Ayamelum L.G.A

Ayamelum is a Local Government Area (LGA) located in Anambra State, Nigeria. It is situated in the southeastern part of the country and is one of the 21 LGAs that make up Anambra State. Ayamelum LGA was created in 1996 as a result of the Nigerian government's efforts to decentralize administration and bring governance closer to the grassroots level. Ayamelum LGA is located in the Northern Senatorial District of Anambra State. It shares borders with other LGAs within the State, including Anambra West, Anaocha, and Ogbaru LGAs. It is also bordered by Kogi State to the north and the Niger River to the east.
